NERMAL

The Northeast Regional Model Arab League (NERMAL) is an annual conference held at the Boston campus of Northeastern University. Universities from across the Northeast will send delegations to represent an Arab League member state in one of eight councils at this November’s conference. The weekend will be intense, including fourteen hours of debate, but will also include ample time for relaxation, networking, and Boston fun. Delegates should arrive at the conference prepared to represent their assigned countries’ perspectives on their debate topics.

Delegates will gain an in-depth knowledge of their assigned country as well as the Arab League as whole. Additionally, simulating real debates will help delegates to acquire a broader perspective on committee topics. The assembly of like-minded individuals from across the Northeast region ensures that NERMAL will be an interesting and competitive conference year after year.

This year we are proud to welcome the following Universities: Simmons College, UMass – Lowell, Colby College, UMASS – Boston, Fitchburg State University, Converse College, University of Pittsburg, Bard College, Emmanuel College, Endicott College, United States Military Academy at West Point, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Drake University and Roger Williams University!
